Why Drink High Antioxidant, Super Hydrating, Ionized Alkaline Water?

Ionization alters water in two significant and measurable ways:ORP (oxidation reduction potential) and pH. These alterations to water are what make it very different from other waters you may drink. Research states that the ideal level for drinking alkaline water is between pH 8 and pH 9.5 with a Negative ORP, which causes the microclustering, antioxidant and oxygenating effects.

The Hunza people are uniquely healthy and free of disease, having the longest lifespan in the world and routinely living to over 100 years of age in good health, with virtually no cancer, degenerative disease, dental caries or bone decay. The Hunzas remain robust and strong, and are able to bear children even in old age. Many studies have been done and it is believed that their simple healthy diet of carefully grown organic food and the glacial, free radical scavenging water is their secret to health and long life.

Hunza water is an example of perfect natural water. Research has found that this water has a high alkaline pH, a Negative ORP, and a high colloidal mineral content. Similar longevity is found in other remote unpolluted places such as the Shin-Chan areas of China, the Caucasus in Azerbaijan, and Vilcabamba in the Andes Mountains of Ecuador. The major common denominator of these healthy, long living people is their local water which exhibits very similar properties.

Japanese scientists investigated Russian electrolysis technology and found that electricity could be used to restructure the water, giving it properties similar to Hunza water. This functional water technology was first developed in Japan in the early 1950's with experiments conducted on plants and animals; experiments with the human body followed, conducted by Japanese doctors.

The first ionizers were large units used in hospitals. Following efforts by Japanese medical doctors, the water ionizer was approved for medical therapeutics by the Japanese Ministry of Health and Rehabilitation in January of 1966. Later, water ionizers were also approved as medical devices by the government of South Korea. Some 30 million people in Japan have used a water ionizer over the last 40 years.
